You're NUTS! Make Some Milk.

While these homemade nut milk bags will NOT drain all of the nuttiness out of you (sorry ‘bout it), it WILL provide you with homemade, minimal ingredient, delectable nut milk in a matter of 2 minutes. And that’s a pretty close second.

What’s so bad about my store-bought nut milk?

I’m not about that preachy life, so go ahead and drink your Almond Breeze or Califia. Totally fine. However, just be warned that there are a handful of useless, weird ingredients in your dairy-free milks that can actually harm your digestion. Who cares about digestion? Well, you should because your turmoil may actually be linked to your gut. Yup. You read that correctly. Gut health and emotions are very much in a relationship. Ingredients:

  • 1 cup nuts (or seeds/oats)

  • 4 cups water

  • 1/4 tsp vanilla (optional)

  • 2 tsp coconut sugar (optional)

  • cinnamon (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Let your nuts (or seeds/oats) soak for 9-12 hours (makes your milk creamier!)

  2. Pour all ingredients into a blender and blend baby, blend

  3. Over a large bowl or cup, pour your mixture into the Ellie’s Best bag
