Twenties & Turmoil

Hi.

Don’t go through turmoil alone. Click, explore, stay a while. I'll cook with you, read with you, vent with you and laugh with you. Hello, new friend.

When FALL Worlds Collide Smoothie

When FALL Worlds Collide Smoothie

Don’t give me that stink eye. I know the level of #basic that is oozing from this smoothie is mortifyingly high, but there’s a reason we’re all obsessed with pumpkin-spice-everything…because it makes us happy. And nothing is better than feeling a little happy in the midst of a little turmoil, am I right? I am, so shut up.

This spooky smoothie is packed with pumpkin, salted caramel, cinnamon graham cracker and sweet granola flavors. I can literally predict all the #BasicBitches scrolling quickly to the recipe below after reading that flavor list. And if you’re still with me up here—reading this paragraph—what are you doing? Scroll down and go make this.

FALL Worlds Collide Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 2 frozen bananas (can sub for 1 frozen banana + 1 cup frozen cauliflower)

  • 2/3 cup pumpkin purée

  • 1/2 scoop Salted Caramel Protein Powder (Blessed Protein)

  • 1/2 scoop Cinnamon Graham Protein Powder (PEScience)

  • 1 Tbs Granola Butter (Kween & Co.)

  • 2/3 cup vanilla nut milk (I used Elmhurst)

  • For topping: Pumpkin-Spice Cheerios + more granola butter

Instructions:

  1. Put all ingredients in a blender & B L E N D.

  2. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides along the way. If your blender needs more liquid, add in more after scraping down the sides. The less liquid you use, the thicker it will be.

  3. Pour some pumpkin-spice cheerios on the bottom of your cup. Pour your smoothie in and top with more pumpkin-spice cheerios and a healthy extra dollop of granola butter.
